Vapour control layer & vapour control layer with variable sd-value - Protection for your thermal insulation.
The THERMOFLOC vapor control layer is a vapor-resistant lining and airtight membrane that protects the constructions reliably against moisture. The reinforcement of the membrane provides high tear resistance and can easily be combined with injectable insulation materials. The vapor control layer is primarily used for internal wall and roof applications.

For roof and wall applications
Vapor control layers are used on the inside of ventilated and non-ventilated roof constructions and in the walls of timber frame structures. The use of vapor control layers eliminates air movement preventing the penetration of moisture into the thermal insulation.
Vapor control layer installation instructions
THERMOFLOC vapor control layer is fastened to the substructure by means of stapling or gluing with the foil side facing the room. With blown-in insulation, the installation of the vapor control layer in a longitudinal direction is recommended. Should it be necessary to install it crosswise, the points where adhesive tape is used must be covered with continuous battens to prevent the adhesive tape from becoming detached due to the blown-in pressure.
